✨ A Message from Pamela
Hi friends,
Hopefully the last two weeks since the new Moon has been smooth for you. Fall season has really taken hold here in the Pacific Northwest and I am already longing for warmer days, which is many new and full Moons away...this Full Moon is sometimes called the Frost Moon, or the Full Beaver Moon as the beavers begin to build their winter dams this time of year.
This months Full Supermoon is on Wednesday, November 5, and is reported to be the brightest or "extreme Supermoon" since 2018! Moon always appears largest as it rises, so even though it is not at is peak fullness (11/5 @5:19am PT), and if it is clear in your area tonight, please look up and to the NE horizon! For reference, in Seattle the Moon will rise at 4:29p.m. – check timeanddate website for moonrise time in your area.
Besides the full Supermoon, November is also off to a busy start, astrologically speaking! Mercury stations retrograde, then engages in not one, but two planetary wars, then all of the inner planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) plus sun dive into watery and sensitive Scorpio at some point during November. I break it all down in my latest free Substack article if you want to understand what November has in store for your rising sign.
Keep looking up!
Pamela

Lunar Lowdown: Bharani Nakshatra Full Supermoon Arrives

Full Moon Snapshot: Your Lunar Coordinates
Date & Time: Wednesday, November 5, 2025
05:19AM PST · 06:19AM MST · 07:19AM CST · 08:19AM EST (13:19 UTC)
Sign & Degree: 19°09′ sidereal Aries
Nakshatra: Bharani — The Star of restraint
Shakti: The Power to Cleanse or Take Things Away
Deity: Yama (Dharmarāja) — keeper of law, boundaries, and consequences
Ruling Planet(s): Venus (nakshatra), Mars (rāśi)
Full Aspect From: Opposition only — Sun conjunct Venus in Libra (no other classical full aspects)
Full Moon energies are generally good for completion, but this month's Full Supermoon could not be better for endings! Bharani nakshatra, where the Full Moon occurs, carries its fierce energies through to the peak fullness of this month's Supermoon. There is not a lot of other planetary influences–just Venus (and of course the Sun!) opposite the Full Moon. The Moon plants the seed of desire in the mind, while Venus helps that desire blossom into a tangible experience.
Supermoon note: this is the closest and brightest full Moon of 2025, so the pull feels both literal and psychic; the oceans feel its pull and so do nervous systems!
Full Moon in Bharani Nakshatra: Cleansing Fire, Release, and Renewal

This Full Moon focuses on cleansing, letting go, and renewal.
Bharani nakshatra channels the energy of Apabharani, the ability to carry away what no longer serves us. Guided by Yama, the god of death and righteousness, and symbolized by the yoni, the sacred womb, Bharani connects to endings (Yama) and beginnings (Womb). This duality makes it a powerful point of transition, where conclusions naturally open us up to creation and new opportunities.
Release and the Creation of Space
During this Full Moon, we are invited to let go of outdated desires, unhealthy attachments, and stagnant identities. Bharani’s influence goes beyond simple release. The Full Moon in Bharani nakshatra creates fertile space for what is to come.
This is a time to:
Release patterns, behaviors, or relationships that no longer serve your highest good
Channel energy and courage (Mars is strong in Scorpio now!) into spiritual practices and creative pursuits
Transform and purify intentions and actions
Create space for new insights and deeper emotional growth
Best timing for release rituals are AFTER the Moon begins to wane, on the first tithi while Moon is still in Bharani Nakshtra from November 5 at 5:20am PST - 5:00pm PST.
Bharani Full Moon Release Ritual

Simple Bharani Release Ritual
This ritual honors both Yama's power of sacred endings and the creative potential or the womb. Best time to perform this release ritual is between 5:20AM - 5:00PM PST on November 5th while the Moon is still in Bharani nakshatra and newly waning.
This ritual is intentionally simple (takes 10-15 minutes) and uses basic household items. It honors the fire element (transformation), Yama (endings), and the creative void (womb/yoni) with regular household items
What you need:
Small piece of paper and pen
A fireproof bowl or container
Matches or a lighter
A glass of water
The Ritual:
Create sacred space. Light a candle or incense if you have it. Take three deep breaths to center yourself.
Write down what you're releasing. On your paper, list what you're ready to let go of: patterns, relationships, beliefs, identities, attachments. Be specific and don't hold back!
Read it aloud. Speak your releases out loud and with intention. Allow yourself feel the weight of what you're carrying.
Burn it. Safely burn the paper in your fireproof container. As it burns, visualize Bharani's cleansing fire carrying away what no longer serves you. You could say: "I release this with gratitude. I create space for what is meant for me."
Honor the void. Sit quietly for a few moments with your eyes closed. Feel the emptiness left behind...this is sacred, fertile ground.
Seal with water. Drink the glass of water mindfully, knowing you're washing away the old and hydrating the seeds of what's to come.
Close. Thank Yama for holding boundaries, Venus for beauty in transition, and the Moon for illuminating your path. Blow out your candle.
That's it. Simple, powerful, and aligned with Bharani's energy of sacred release and renewal.

Guru Wars Part III: Venus and Jupiter Align in Revati— Shepherds of the Celestial Sky

Caroline Herschel discovered eight comets, catalogued 2,500 nebulae, and shattered every barrier placed before women in science.
Her birth chart holds a rare Venus retrograde-Jupiter in Pisces alignments. Venus exalted and retrograde with Jupiter in Revati nakshatra: a cosmic signature of transmuted desire, dharmic devotion, and shepherding the stars themselves. Full Moon in Bharani Nakshatra: Your Rising Sign Guide

Here’s how the Full Moon may unfold for each rising sign. Please remember that your individual birth chart will add a lot of nuance to your Full Moon experience! Note: If you are in the planetary period (Vimshottari Dasha) or sub-periods of Moon or Venus, this Full Moon will hold even greater significance for you!
♈ Aries Rising
Your first house blazes with the Supermoon and Bharani right light, demanding you release versions of yourself that no longer fit the person you're becoming. You are shedding old skin...outdated self-concepts, limiting beliefs about who you are, or ways you might have diminished yourself to keep the peace. The open space that remains becomes a portal for rebirth, allowing your authentic self to emerge with your true Martian force. Mars moving through Scorpio and your 8th house by transit also supports this personal transformation.
♉ Taurus Rising
The Supermoon is hidden in the last house of your chart, the 12th house. This Full Moon carries Bharani's power to cleanse and release what's been buried in your subconscious. Pay close attention to things that arise in your dreams or meditations, especially related to fear, ancestral patterns, or self-sabotaging beliefs that you have knowingly or unknowingly carried in silence. Your chart ruler Venus opposite the Moon helps you see clearly what must be surrendered before your next chapter begins. The void you create now becomes sacred container for spiritual renewal.
♊ Gemini Rising
The Full Moon in Bharani's activates your eleventh house and is asking you to evaluate which casual friendships and community connections (business or personal/socail media) truly serve your evolution. The Supermoon may bring some endings in your circle, but trust that theses departures will be clearing space for more aligned souls to connect. If you haven't addressed this by the time of the Full Moon, when Mercury, your chart ruler retrograde, clashes with Mars (the ruler of your 11th house) in the week following the Full Moon, you'll recognize which relationships need to be let go.
♋ Cancer Rising
At the very top of your chart, in the 10th house, the Supermoon demands you release professional identities, roles, or career paths that no longer align with who you're becoming. The Full Moon exides Bharani's cleansing power to help you let go of external validation, outdated goals, or the pressure to measure up to other people's expectations. What you release now creates space for authentic achievement that honors your true calling. With Jupiter transiting your first house now, you have support and a preview of what is ahead for 2026.
♌ Leo Rising
Spiritual growth meets closure as the Full Supermoon in Bharani illuminates your ninth house of dharma. It is time to shed limiting beliefs, philosophies, or educational pursuits that may have become dogma rather than doorways. This Full Moon can wipe clean rigidity that has calcified your personal philosophy, religious conditioning, or spiritual practices that are more restrictive rather than liberating. The void left by released beliefs becomes fertile ground for new wisdom to take root. Journaling is the key to letting go since Sun and Venus are transiting your third house.
♍ Virgo Rising
The Full Moon calls for deep transformation from your eighth house, where Bharani's power to cleanse psychological patterns, issue around resources in partnerships, or other matters that keep you tangles up in the past. This lunation asks you to release control, surrender to transformation, and let old versions die. The space created through this death becomes a womb for profound regeneration and empowered vulnerability. As Mercury (your chart ruler) stations retrograde soon after the Full Moon and clashes with Mars (your 8th lord!), it will be time to reconsider all of these issues and decide what new version of these matter you want to put into place.
♎ Libra Rising
Standing opposite the Sun in your first house, Bharani's Supermoon shines its bright, fierce light on your seventh house of committed partnerships. What needs to change for your relationship to grow or to build the relationship you desire? This lunation demands release of codependency, people-pleasing patterns, or long-standing committed partnerships that may have run their course. Venus guides you to honor both connection and completion, knowing that sacred space created through endings invites more authentic union in the future. As Venus, your chart ruler, moves through your 1st house this month can support and strengthen your resolve to make the necessary changes.
♏ Scorpio Rising
Day to day routines undergoes Bharani's purification through this Full Supermoon, as it activates your sixth house. Think about which work patterns, health habits, how you are of service to others that may deplete rather than sustain you. This lunation can help you shed perfectionism, martyrdom, or routines that keep you stuck in survival mode. What you clear from your daily rituals creates room for practices that truly nourish body and spirit. As your chart ruler Mars moves through Scorpio this month you will have the support and strength you need to make the necessary changes.
♐ Sagittarius Rising
Your creative spirit comes face to face with the Bharani's cleansing fire of the Supermoon in your fifth house. What must die for your creative expression and Joie de Vivre to be fully expressed? This lunation allows you to fully release old identities or ideals you have around pleasure, romance, or artistic output that no longer reflects who you are. The void left by surrendered passions becomes fertile ground for joy that can truly set your soul ablaze! As your chart ruler Jupiter dips its toe briefly into Cancer and your 8th house this month, you are setting the stage for a major transformation that fully supports what you must release now.
♑ Capricorn Rising
Home and roots meet Bharani's reckoning energy through the Full Supermoon illuminating your fourth house. Outdated family patterns, domestic situations, or emotional foundations that no longer support your growth are ready to be released. This lunation can also clear ancestral baggage, living situations that just don't work anymore, or the internalized voices that keep you small. What you release from your foundation allows a more authentic emotional structure to emerge. Your chart ruler Saturn stations direct this month, so prepare to put your new modes of being in place soon.
♒ Aquarius Rising
Courage rises as Bharani’s Supermoon lights up your third house, igniting the will to speak your truth without apology. This lunation asks you to release people-pleasing patterns and fears that keep you silent or compliant. You may feel called to clear stagnant energy in sibling or your close friendships, revise or toss out unfinished writing, or stop daily routines that loop without purpose. Bharani’s fierce creative power burns through hesitation leaving your authentic voice, ready to forge genuine connection and purpose. Once Saturn stations direct later this month, you’ll find the structure and follow-through to back your words with action.
♓ Pisces Rising
Material security and personal values is highlighted as the Supermoon in Bharani's lands in your second house, calling you to release attachments to possessions, revise savings plans, eliminate self-worth patterns that are limiting your potential. If you are experiencing a scarcity mindset, have unhealthy financial entanglements, or the belief that your value comes from what you own, now is the time to shift the paradigm! What you surrender around resources creates space for true abundance to flow, especially as Jupiter previews its 2026 transit through your fifth house and exaltation sign of Cancer in November, showing how creative efforts can support joy and freedom of expression.
