New Year, New Moon!

The first new Moon of 2023 occurs Saturday, January 21, at 12:53pm PT, in the zodiac sign Capricorn, within the nakshatra of Uttara Ashadha.
Powerful Pluto is very close to the new Moon degree and can indicate a metaphorical death and rebirth or transformation and regeneration, much like the new Moon as it transitions from darkness into light.
Pluto, being the planet of transformation and power, adds another layer of intensity and impetus for change. This can be a powerful time for letting go of the past and facing deep-seated issues in order to move forward and make important changes in one's life.
▪ The next section of this blog will share which areas of life) by rising sign) are emphasized and are ready for transformation during this new Moon.

New Moon in Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra: What does it support?

New Moon in Uttara Ashadha nakshatra is a marvelous nakshatra for new beginnings!
Uttara Ashadha nakshatra is supportive of: * Anything related to new beginnings in business * Starting a new spiritual practice * Negotiations with the government and other authorities * Building a house or moving into a new residence * Getting married * Signing legal contracts
If you are in the main or sub planetary periods of Sun or Moon, this will be an especially significant new Moon for you.
UTTARA ASHADHA “LATTER VICTORY”
Deity: Vishvadevas
Symbol: Elephant Tusk or Planks of a Bed
Shakti: The Power to Give Unstoppable Victory
Quality: Fixed
VD Planetary Period Lord: Sun
The Vishvadevas is the universe personified as god. Sri Aurobindo describes them as the universal collective of divine powers, and they are the presiding deities of Uttara Ashadha. This nakshatra is filled with the divine energy of the Vishvadevas and gives an individual the ability to focus on the needs of others and to support and uplift others spiritually, including society at large. Much like the planks of the bed, they are the foundation or support for the mattress (and not meant to be rested upon, unlike the bed symbolized in Purva Phalguni and Uttara Phalguni).
The influence of Uttara Ashadha can greatly motivate a person who is capable of ignoring their own needs for the needs of others and enable them to accomplish a great deal in life. This nakshatra is one of the final nine nakshatras that are more concerned with spiritual development than physical comforts. The strength of the Vishvadevas gives one the power of unstoppable victory, and this nakshatra is often associated with those fighting for the greater good.

Sidereal Forecasts! This is just a reminder for those who are new to my new and full Moon \forecasts and other articles -- my forecasts are created using the sidereal system calculations. Your rising sign, and other planets in your birth chart will usually (but not 100% of the time) shift signs from your tropically calculated horoscope. Sidereal calculations are about 24 degrees different (less than) from tropical calculations.
