Hi friends,

We’re entering the first eclipse corridor of 2026. The Solar Eclipse in Aquarius carries a sharp edge. Venus, Rahu, and Mercury are pulled into the eclipse field, while Uranus in Taurus adds additional tension.

When so many planetary energies and an eclipse converge in one sign, the area of life Aquarius governs in your chart can feel amplified and unsettled.

Rising sign guidance and key themes are below.

Keep looking up!

Pamela

Solar Eclipse in Dhanistha Nakshatra

Date & Time: February 17, 2026 – 4:01 AM PT | 6:01 AM CT | 7:01 AM ET| 12:01PM GMT

Sign & Degree: 4°36’ sidereal Aquarius

Nakshatra: Dhanistha

Deity: The Vasus (cosmic wealth, elemental forces)

Eclipse Influences– Conjunct: Venus, Rahu, Mercury, Trine: Jupiter (from Gemini), Square: Uranus (near exact)

This eclipse lands in early Aquarius, the sign of collective systems, networks, technology and science, and social reform.

Eclipses are destabilization by design. Structural interruptions. They occur when Rahu and Ketu metaphorically swallow the Sun or Moon... the luminaries that orient life on Earth, that signify mind and soul. For a moment, the lights go out. And with them goes the illusion of permanence.

I wrote extensively about this in my recent Eclipse Shadows essay. How eclipses don't create instability so much as reveal where rhythm was already fractured. (Read that article here.)

Occurring within Dhanistha, the nakshatra of rhythm, pulse, and coordinated timing. When aligned, Dhanistha produces harmony. When disrupted, the beat is off.

The planetary configuration here is unusually layered. The Sun and Moon conjoin Rahu, which amplifies and distorts. Venus is nearby, drawing relationships, alliances, and desire into the eclipse field. Mercury shapes and misshapes the narrative, contracts, and public messaging, especially as it prepares to station retrograde midway between the Solar and Lunar eclipse.

Jupiter from Gemini does cast an aspect to the planets in Aquarius, and in ordinary circumstances it could offer some measure of wisdom and perspective. But Jupiter is still retrograde and with Mercury (ruler of Gemini) so compromised within the eclipse field, it leaves Jupiter's wisdom with nowhere to take root.

The almost exact square of Uranus to the eclipse is also pure nervous-system activation. There is a potential for sudden market shifts, disruptions in technology and agreements that seemed like they were solid last week may suddenly start wobbling. Ideological fractures may also widen in society during the next week.

What begins now seeds the next six months. Watch carefully what stirs in the days surrounding the eclipse. The rhythm is being interrupted...pay attention to what the break reveals.

Eclipse Season: When the Shadows Reveal the Fault Lines

Eclipse season illuminates where the cracks already are. Much of contemporary discourse tells us to regulate, soothe, stay composed. Eclipse season interrupts that impulse entirely.

If you want to go deeper into the philosophy behind this, my recent Substack essay Eclipse Season: When the Shadows Reveal the Fault Lines is a good place to start. → Read it here

Aries: Lead deliberately

This eclipse has the potential to destabilize friendships, group dynamics, social media interactions, or income tied to your career. With so many planets caught in Rahu's amplifier, collective narratives can swing wildly. Not everything requires a public reaction. Whether you are retired or primarily focused on home and family, this still applies. The career zone in your chart speaks to your visible role and the authority you carry in the outer world. That may express through leadership in community spaces, volunteer work, family decisions, or simply how others look to you for direction. Your chart ruler Mars is exalted in Capricorn, steady and strategic in your public sphere. You have more influence than you may realize. Move with intention, speak when it matters and hold your ground when it counts.

Taurus: Substance over spectacle

Your professional direction may be due for restructuring or a change of pace. With your chart ruler Venus directly involved in the eclipse, this event feels very personal. Reputation, visibility, and long-term direction are in motion. Stay anchored in your principles rather than reacting to noise. Uranus continues to push on your sense of self, and how you present yourself may be evolving faster than feels comfortable. As your identity shifts, your public role may follow. Expect the unexpected professionally, and focus on substance over performance.

Gemini: Verify everything

This eclipse stirs your beliefs, your teachers, your sense of truth and meaning. Long-distance plans, legal matters, publishing, or ethical questions may feel unsettled. Something you assumed was stable could shift. Your chart ruler Mercury is pulled directly into the eclipse field, so messaging, contracts, and narratives are front and center. Information may be compelling yet incomplete. Slow down before signing, announcing, or committing. Let bold promises sit for a few days. There’s also an unpredictable undercurrent operating behind the scenes. Hidden factors, unconscious patterns, or quiet disruptions may be influencing events more than you realize. Insights could come through intuition rather than logic. If something feels slightly off, trust that. You don’t need a fully formed explanation to pause.

Cancer: Slow down on financial decisions

Shared resources and financial entanglements are activated at this time: debts, joint assets, and long-term obligations. With your chart ruler, the Moon, part of the eclipse field, emotions may run deeper than usual. What feels urgent may not actually be clear. Give yourself space before committing to major agreements or restructuring shared finances. Uranus has already been unsettling your social and professional networks, and those tremors could now ripple into joint ventures or financial arrangements tied to friends, collaborators, or community affiliations. Patience now protects you later.

Leo: Recalibrate

This eclipse activates the axis between you and the people closest to you, shifting the balance in romantic or business partnerships. When this line is stirred, dynamics can change quickly — sometimes through someone else’s choice rather than your own. With your chart ruler, the Sun, being eclipsed, and Uranus adding pressure from your career and public sphere, instability in outer roles may ripple into personal relationships. What once felt steady could suddenly feel negotiable. If tensions surface, resist dramatic conclusions. This is less about collapse and more about recalibration. Stay rooted in your center rather than reacting to shifting expectations around you.

Virgo: Simplify

Daily routines, health, and your basic responsibilities may feel unsettled now. This eclipse activates the systems that keep your day-to-day life running. Your chart ruler Mercury is caught in Rahu’s amplification, so information may arrive suddenly and without complete context. Meanwhile, ongoing shifts around your beliefs, teachers, or long-term vision may be quietly influencing your everyday structures. What you thought was stable could require adjustment. Guard your nervous system. Tackle one task at a time. Resist the urge to process everything all at once.

Libra: Create wisely

The eclipse lands in your zone of creativity, passion projects, children, and how you express yourself in the world; the things that bring you joy and make life feel alive. Your chart ruler Venus is inside the eclipse field, so be aware that your judgment may be temporarily obscured. Uranus has been stirring up themes around shared finances, income taxes and longevity. That disruption is now creating pressure on your creative capacity and is encourage more radical self-expression. What you're inspired to create may be undergoing a more radical reinvention than you expected. Stay rooted before making bold moves.

Scorpio: Respond strategically

This eclipse lands on one of the most sensitive points in your chart, in the foundation of your life. Home, family, roots, and your inner emotional world are all activated. The Sun, Moon, Rahu, Venus and Mercury, all piled into this part of your chart can make this an emotionally charged period. Uranus has been creating some instability in your most significant partnerships, which has the potential to further disrupt the foundation the eclipse is already shaking. It is helpful that your chart ruler Mars is strong in Capricorn, helping you navigate difficult conversations with authority. Measured words will serve you far better than reactive ones right now.

Sagittarius: Choose words carefully

This eclipse heightens conversations, agreements, siblings, media, and your immediate environment. Words travel fast right now. A casual comment can take on a life of its own. Meanwhile, ongoing instability has been brewing in your day-to-day work; systems, schedules, health, or regular responsibilities that demand your time. If your routines have felt erratic or your workload unpredictable, that underlying strain could create frustration about daily pressures that can arise in communications. Your chart ruler Jupiter is retrograde, asking for review rather than proclamation. It forms supportive ties to the eclipse, but retrograde support works inwardly first. This is a moment for reconsidering your stance, not broadcasting it. With Mercury unsettled, clarity is developing but not fully formed. Pause before publishing. Reread before sending. Let wisdom mature internally before you make it external.

Capricorn: Guard resources

Family, savings, and personal values are directly activated by this eclipse. Your chart ruler Saturn is nearly conjunct Neptune (February 20) and this week and next, you may feel mentally very foggy around what you earn, what you own, and what you consider non-negotiable. For you, this is especially significant because Saturn rules both your identity and your resources. Decisions tied to money or long-term security require extra precision now. Uranus has been energizing your creative impulses and appetite for risk, and that restless current can quietly influence financial choices. Be mindful of spending driven by inspiration, frustration, or the desire for reinvention. Slow the process down, verify the numbers.

Aquarius: Reinvention, slowly

The eclipse lands squarely in your first house. Your identity, life direction, and public persona are up for a reset. Uranus is stirring something hidden in the your deepest emotional layer, what has been quietly dissolving beneath the surface may be closer to completion than you realize. Allow the process to unfold. Your chart ruler Saturn is almost exactly conjunct Neptune, evolving your relationship to personal and financial values in ways that will take time to fully clarify.

Pisces: Let endings complete

Something dissolves quietly before it becomes visible. The eclipse activates your zone of retreat, rest, and what is hidden in the unconscious. This is a long cycle and the most significant phase will be reaching completion this spring. Your chart ruler Jupiter is still retrograde and turned inward until early March. Uranus has been shaking up your closes friendships, alliances that felt reliable may be shifting, and this eclipse may clarify which connections are built to last. Trusted networks matter now. Let what is ending complete before reaching for what comes next.
