This is the first of three supermoons we will experience in 2020—the other
two occur in April and May. A supermoon is when the Moon is closest to
Earth in the process of its orbit around the Earth.
The Moon will be almost full in the morning but will set here in the Pacific
NW before it reaches its peak brightness! Be sure to look up and to the WSW
before it sets at 8am PST and connect with this brilliant and beautiful lunar
energy.
The March full Moon is also called the Full Crow Moon by the northern
native American tribes since the cawing of crows signals the end of winter.

Purva Phalguni is the first of two nakshatras that form the pair Purva Phalguni and Uttara Phalguni. Relaxation, rest, pleasure, and sexual activities are just a few of the indications of this nakshatra. The symbol of the hammock, or legs of the bed, reinforces these qualities.
Bhaga, the god of material bliss and prosperity through union, is one of the Adityas (solar deities) and presides over Purva Phalguni. Often an individual with planets in this nakshatra may marry someone who inherits money or who earns a great deal of money from their business or career.
This nakshatra is often referred to as the party nakshatra, especially when social Venus or Mercury are placed here. Fun, parties, creature comforts, and creative forces permeate the energy of Purva Phalguni. Bestowed with charisma and great desire to enjoy the pleasures in life, a strong Purva Phalguni person can get quite agitated when their enjoyment is cut short. Doing so can bring out the fierce quality of Purva Phalguni.
