JULY KEY ASTROLOGICAL INSIGHTS
The June 28 new Moon ushers in the month of July with a newly waxing lunar phase. This month marks the birthday of the USA on July 4 with fireworks and celebrations.
The planets close out July their own brand of fireworks! Uranus, Mars and Rahu will be joined up in a tense relationship to Saturn and also to Mercury. This may be a particularly volatile time for living beings and the planet.
Mercury gets the worst end of deal from these difficult influences. My Gemini and Virgo rising friends, mark your calendars! Dates and details below.

▪ July 12: Venus strong in Taurus (Taurus and Libra rising) through July 12. Venus enters Gemini just before midnight on July 12.
▪ July 13: Full Super Moon in Uttara Ashadha nakshatra (Sagittarius rising)
▪ July 16: Mercury enters Cancer (Gemini, Virgo and Cancer rising)
▪ July 16: Sun enters Cancer, opposing Saturn (Cancer, Leo, Capricorn and Aquarius rising)

Stargazing in July - Extraordinary!
RARE EVENT! Planets Visible in Their Natural Order in the Sky The first few days of July gives us a few more days to observe the unusual planetary configuration of all five bright planets in their natural order from the Sun in the morning sky. Early risers will be able to see these planets about 30 minutes before sunrise.
Mercury is first - low on the morning horizon. Then look for beautiful Venus, the red planet and warrior Mars, bright Jupiter and finally, twinkling Saturn. You’ll be able to see these five planets until Mercury disappears in the morning twilight after July 4.
Earth at Aphelion The third rock from the Sun, Earth, reaches aphelion – the farthest point from the Sun around 11:00am Pacific Time on July 4.
July 7 Moon and Spica In the evening of July 7, the waxing gibbous moon shines next to Spica, which is the brightest star in Virgo the Maiden.
July 13 (Night) No planets are visible, but behold a brilliant full Moon … and it’s a Super Moon!
Thursday, July 21 Moon and Mars The waning crescent moon meets Mars early Thursday morning. Moon will be positioned several finger widths to the upper right (or 4 degrees to the celestial west-southwest) of Mars' reddish glow.
