Full Moon on Samhain October 31 @ 7:49am Pacific Time

Be sure to read this very important full Moon energy forecast, then hop on over to your horoscope age and read the full Moon forecast for your sign.

Samhain is a special time when Wiccans and other pagans honor their departed ancestors. Samhain originated from ancient Celtic spiritual traditions. In modern times, Samhain is usually celebrated from October 31 to November 1 and it is time to welcome the harvest and it also marks the Sun's decline into “the dark half of the year". Technically this is also full Moon is a Blue Moon since it is the second full Moon of October. But I chose the image above because it is more energetically aligned with the planetary influences of this full Moon on All Hallows Eve!

The full Moon sets in the West at 7:48 am PDT, literally minutes before sunrise on October 31. This should be a spectacular full Moon morning if you have clear skies! Additionally, the full Moon will be exactly conjunct excitable and surprising Uranus! This is a very unusual circumstance since they are literally on top of each other at the peak of the full Moon.

This Moon+Uranus combination can bring unstable energy into the mix starting the day before the full Moon. It can signal more volatile (Uranus) emotions (Moon), so a really fantastic time to practice mindfulness and count to ten before engaging in any conflict. Depending upon the house that this full Moon occupies in your birth chart, this will influence a very specific area of your experience - see the forecast for your sign for the details!

If you are Aries rising, this is your one and only full Moon in your sign during 2020. Be sure to use the energy of the full Moon to complete something personal! Regardless of your rising sign, there will be an underlying energy for all associated with this new Moon in the air sign of Aries connected to: ▪ Initiative ▪ Vitality ▪ Courage ▪ Independence

Full Moon in Bharani Nakshatra: 100 Healers This excerpt about Bharani Nakshatra is from my new book Vedic Astrology for Beginners: An Introduction to the Origins and Core Concepts of Jyotish:

Bharani, “The Bearer of New Life” Deity: Yama Symbol: The Womb or Female Regenerative Organs Shakti: The Power to Take Things Away Quality: Fierce (Ugra)

There are seemingly conflicting energies representing birth and the presiding deity, Yama, the God of death and dharma. The female regenerative organs as the symbol of Bharani are the gateway to birth, and in the scheme of many lifetimes, death must come before we can be reborn into the next lifetime, and life must also come before death. Yama, the upholder of dharma, punishment and Eternal Law influences this nakshatra and supports the individual’s path of right action and justice. Bharani nakshatra is associated with birth and creation.

(This was just a short excerpt and not the full book text for this nakshatra...)
