Before I get into the new Moon astrology forecast for January 31, I want to share some current planetary events!
Venus is direct as of January 29. And Mercury FINALLY stations direct this Thursday, February 3. All seven traditional planets (Mercury through Saturn) are direct until June - whew!
There are many important planetary shifts ahead this spring and summer. These major shifts include Jupiter and Saturn, the nodes of the Moon and the new beginning of the eight year Venus cycle! I don't know about you, but I am seriously ready for this new and supportive energy ahead in 2022!
The new Moon is at it's darkest January 31 at 9:45pm Pacific Time at 18:10 Capricorn (sidereal) and Moon is in a close and somewhat tense aspect (square) to erratic Uranus! The influence of Uranus can create a somewhat volatile emotional experience today as we lead up to the new Moon this evening.
The Moon is also applying (moving toward) Saturn, who is much more conservative than Uranus! If an important new phase is starting at this time, it will be key to plan slow but gradual growth, since Saturn is so heavily involved. Uranus will be tempting you to break the mold and go for it...but trust me on this one - you want to plan for steady growth!
Have you noticed how much the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are factoring into recent planetary influences? These are significant generational influences, but also very important when they are transiting over the same degree range as a planet in your birth chart.
