The first full Moon of 2022 is near! The January full Moon is traditionally called the Wolf Moon.
I want to share a few important astrological updates before we dive into this full Moon energy! Mercury retrograde is happening now! January 17 Full Wolf Moon Forecast: Top 5 Things You Need to Know
1. The first full Moon of 2022 occurs in its own sign of Cancer, in both the tropical and sidereal zodiac for a change!
2. The moon will be beneath the horizon when it is at is fullest January 17, 3:47pm Pacific Time. The best time to view the Moon is the night before on January 16 and the morning of January 17 before it sets, It rises Sunday around 3:23pm Pacific Time. The Moon will be incredibly huge as it sets to the NW on the morning of January 17. Catch it before sunrise for the best effect!
3. The full Moon will illuminate and emphasize the qualities of the zodiac sign Cancer. Key words for the zodiac sign and the energies of Cancer are sensitive, nourishing, intuitive and emotional.
4. Cancer rising friends - take note! This is the only full Moon in Cancer for 2022. Read the next section of this newsletter for your forecast by rising sign!
5. Pluto is closely conjunct the Sun and opposite Moon at the time of the full Moon! The theme of transformation that began with Venus retrograde continues. Pluto will be at the EXACT degree (2:19 sidereal Capricorn) where Venus turned retrograde (on December 19) at the time of the full Moon. This is a highly sensitive degree. Check your birth chart for planets between 1-3 degrees of Capricorn. They will be very sensitized at this full Moon time!
