January 30 -  February 20, 2021

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

Reading the Mercury retrograde horoscope for your rising sign will typically be the most accurate, but you can read your horoscope for rising, Sun and/or Moon signs, too. Vedic Sun signs change slightly from certain decades, but I am listing the best approximate dates for this century for the Sun signs below.

Aries (April 13 - May 14)

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

As Mercury turns direct on February 20 it will be an important time to contemplate your public reputation, work and career and your related goals. Particularly so since Mercury, Jupiter and sign lord Saturn will all be in Shravana nakshatra. Three planets in one nakshatra places a major priority on really listening closely - both to yourself and to others. Especially with Jupiter in the final pada (part) of Shravana nakshatra.

If you are in marketing, communication, teaching or counseling or in the music industry this will be a powerful time for you to reach new heights in your career! Particularly so with the support of Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury in Shravana nakshatra, which connects so deeply to all things auditory.

Some other important parts of life to consider as Mercury turns direct since Mercury is responsible for written communications, younger siblings, business and education and your health and daily routines. And how these matters impact your ability to achieve your goals. As Mercury begins to move forward on February 20 and beyond.

Taurus (May 15-June 14)

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

Your ruler Venus changes signs just hours before Mercury goes direct. Due to this sign shift of Venus, your focus now through mid-March will be on your public reputation, career or building your business if you are self-employed. That said, there will be some additional work to be done connected to retrograde Mercury (now direct) in your ninth house. This house represents your spiritual path, higher learning, dharma, luck and fortune and your relationship with your teachers and father.

At the same time the new Moon that occurred on February 12 there was a pile of other planets in the same house which also placed significant emphasis on these same topics. Did you set any intentions around the new Moon time? Check in now with whatever you started and see what else you can do to be sure your plans are moving forward.

As Mercury turns direct on February 20 it will be an important time to contemplate your spiritual path, higher learning and dharma and how your spiritual path is  influenced by the time spent on career or work. Particularly so since Mercury, Jupiter and sign lord Saturn will all be in Shravana nakshatra. Three planets in one nakshatra places a major priority on really listening closely - both to yourself and to others. Especially with Jupiter in the final pada (part) of Shravana nakshatra.

The past few weeks you may have been re-thinking some personal transformation, your living situation, your relationship with your mother or what truly makes you happy. This retrograde phase signaled a re-assessment of recent personal transformation, as well as a close look at your relationship and how your partners assests, or lack of factor into your relationship equation.

At the same time the new Moon that occurred on February 12 there was a pile of other planets in this very same location of your chart. Did you set any intentions around the new Moon time? Cancer (July 15-August 14)

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

The new Moon on Febraury 12 set the stage for a new begining connected with relationships. And now Mercury is going direct in the relationship zone of your chart. What were your intentions around this time?

These events along with Jupiter and Saturn also in your relationship zone really place signficant influence on your romantic and business partnerships as Mercury goes direct in this part of your chart.

Mercury places significant on communcation and your subconscious attitudes and behaviours you bring into your relationship. What can you put into place that can support positive communication now that Mercury is moving forward.

Communication is emphasized now since Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are all in Shravana nakshatra. Shravana nalshatra is all about listening! Not only to others but also to your own internal insticts, and in your case dear Cancer, especially listen closely to what your partner is saying or what they are not saying!

Leo: (August 15-September 15)

Mercury is your money planet since it rules both your second house of assets and your eleventh house of earned income from your career or business. Needless to say Mercury finally headed in the forward direction is an important shift for your financil well being!

Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury are taking a closer look at how you spend your time at work and in your daily routines and how your habits connect to your financial objectives. With disciplined Saturn in the mix, and the new Moon that just happened on February 12, you are being asked to make sure that you are being disciplined, structred, working hard toward your goals, which you understand will manifest slowly and steadily with Saturn present.

The new Moon  occured in the same area of your chart that Mercury is going direct in. You may have set some intentions on the new Moon around your daily routines. If so, revisit these intentions and insure that you put your plans into place as Mercury moves forward on February 20.

Listening is key. Both internally and to others. Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are all in Shravana nakshatra as Mercury goes direct. Even contemplate information that you may receive from those who tend to criticize you or who are not friends since the messages that are coming from them now may be very important.

Virgo: (September 16-October 15)

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

Yay!!! Your chart ruler Mercury is turning direct on February 20 and things will start feeling much better as March approaches.

The new Moon with four other planets placed a huge emphasis on your children, creativity, passion and romance. Mercury going direct in this part of your chart puts a further emphasis on these areas of your life!

Additionally, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are all in Shravana nakshatra through March 4. This nakshatra connects to listening, teaching, speaking - both internally and externally. Listening to your children, your partner and particularly listening to your internal dialogue as they relate to these areas of your life.

The fifth house also represents fun, games and joy! And besides being your ruling planet, Mercury also represents your career, you may also feel like injecting more fun, joy and creativity in your business plan!

Libra: (October 16-November 14)

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

Your chart ruler Venus changes signs just before Mercury goes direct. This movement of Venus will place an emphasis on romance, creativity, children, joy and fun for you through mid-March.

Mercury going direct really wants you to connect with what truly makes you happy and at peace, especially in your home environment. The kind of deep internal peace and groundedness. Not the fun and joyful energies of the fifth house but the settled, calm energy of a satisfied fourth house. So you may feel a bit of a pull between these two planetary energies and the houses they represent until Mercury joins Venus in the fun and games on March 11!

The new Moon on February 12 began the process. The other four planets in the same sign at the time of the new Moon piled on. Did you set any intentions about your home or happiness at this time?

Mercury as the ruler of your spiritual path and higher learning is asking you to put into place anything connected to your spiritual goals that can bring you more personal peace. Put your additional plans in place as Mercury goes direct on February 20, and find your sweet spot! Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury are all in Shravana nakshatra and are encouraging you to listen deeply to your own internal voice. Also pay especially close attention to your dreams February 20-22 since Mercury rules sleep and dreams for you.

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will usually  be different from your Western astrology rising sign), you can order a birth chart and rising sign report here or calculate your free Vedic Birth chart online here.

It's all about communication for you, Scorpio!

The new Moon along with a major pileup of other planets kicked off this influence on February 12, and now that Mercury is going direct in your third house, matters of communication are about to get louder!

Mercury is the planet of communication and since it is going direct in your third house of written communication, fine arts and sucess through your own efforts, these matters are doubly important for you now through March 11.

Especially since Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn all in Shravana nalshatra, the message is loud and clear.

Listen. Listen. Listen!  When communicating with others be sure to do so clearly especially related to your creative pursuits, your personal passions and in your romantic relationships since Shravana nakshatra emphasizes listening.

Did you set intentions around writing or communication for the February new Moon? If so, double down once Mercury goes direct! Keep in mind my Mars ruled friends, that Saturn as the ruler of the  house/sign will be looking for slow and steady growth. No rocket ships!

Your relationships, assets and career are all potentially up for some changes. First there was a huge planetary pile-up emphasizing you savings plan, assets and your diet since the food we eat is also part of the second house. Then the new Moon occurred on February 12, placing an additional attention in these areas of life. Lastly, Mercury goes direct on February 20 in the second house of savings and assets. But the picture is slightly more complicated than this.

Mercury is responsible for your spouse or partner, and your career. How your career and your partner (or lack of, if you are not in a committed partnership) does or does not influence your long term financial stability is very much in play right now as Mercury goes direct on February 20.

Whatever the case, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are all in Shravana nakshatra emphasizing the need to listen to your partner and your own internal voice since Jupiter as your chart ruler is in Shravana, too .

Dream time is incredibly important for you as Mercury starts moving forward! Also excavating material from your subconscious mind into consciousness. Shravana nakshatra is symbolized by the ear and is all about listening - not only to the audible conversations around us but also to our internal dialogue.

Since Jupiter and Saturn also joining Mercury in Shravana nakshatra, listen carefully to the message that may come through in your dream time, especially now through March 11.

You are in the final stage of a 30 year Saturn cycle and a 12 year Jupiter cycle through the 12th house. This is a fantastic time to work with a counselor or therapist and  specifically someone who is very experienced with dream interpretation. By clearing out the cobwebs of your subconscious mind, you will lay the foundation for healthier, more joyful decades to come!

Meanwhile Saturn is getting into the mix, too! All three planets in Shravana nakshatra emphasize the need to listen to your partner, your mother, your own internal dialogue about your happiness and your broader social and business networks, since all of this is happening in your 11th house! Whew! That is a lot of listening. But there will golden nuggets to mine, so listen carefully.
