Jupiter in Sidereal Sagittarius:  Horoscopes by Sign

Below is your Jupiter in Sagittarius forecast for 2019/2020.

If you do not know your Vedic rising, Sun or Moon signs (they will typically be different from your Western astrology sign), you can read for your Vedic Sun sign. Sun sign dates are listed below name of each sign and you may note that Vedic Sun sign dates are not the same as Tropical Sun sign calculations.

If you know your rising sign, then the horoscope for your rising sign will be the most accurate, but you can read for your Sun and/or Moon signs, too.

Please note that this forecast is created using the Vedic sidereal zodiac system, which is calculated differently Western tropical astrology. The difference is ~ 24 degrees at this time. So if your rising degree or any planet is 23:50 degrees or lower, then in the sidereal system it will go back one full sign.

Vedic Sun signs change slightly within decades of time periods, but I am listing the best approximate dates for the last 50 years for the Sun signs below.

"As someone who began their astrological journey in Western astrology and then transitioned into Vedic astrology, I share many key differences in this book between the two systems so that anyone familiar with Western astrology but is also interested in learning about Jyotish can easily and quickly begin their journey with this book and establish a strong foundation for future learning." - Pamela

Jump for JOY Aries! Jupiter is gracing the fire trines in your birth chart and these are the areas that bring so much joy, learning and abundance for you!

Be sure to take full advantage of this one year long transit of Jupiter. If you are contemplating going back to school or enrolling in a course, this will be an excellent time to do so.  Or you may decide to study philosophy, religion or spirituality

Your creative talents will also be in full swing, and if you are considering  an addition to your family this Jupiter transit may support your efforts!

On a personal level you may feel happier and lighter than you have in a long time! Especially once Saturn finally moves into sidereal Capricorn on January 23, 2020. Jupiter can then fully express his expansive and jubilant nature! Be sure to read part one of this forecast with key dates and nakshatra influences.

Taurus

(May 15-June 14)

Please note Vedic Sun Sign dates are not the same as in Western astrology!!!

Jupiter will emphasize transformation, spirituality, tapping into and expanding your heart center over the next year that Jupiter is in sidereal Sagittarius.

This Jupiter transit to Sagittarius will be an excellent time to  deepen your studies of the esoteric arts such as astrology,  tarot or other metaphysical related subjects. You will want to go very deep into the roots of whichever esoteric subject you study, especially in November and December!

You may decide to remodel or move to a larger residence. The best time to do this will be after Saturn moves out of Sagittarius at the end of January 2020 and AFTER the eclipses late December 2019 and January 2020!

This year long transit of Jupiter will be also supportive for establishing a regular meditation practice or digging deep into your subconscious mind.  Connect with a therapist or counselor to address long standing beliefs and emotional patterns that no longer serve you and RELEASE them!

Gemini

(June 15-July 14)

Please note Vedic Sun Sign dates are not the same as in Western astrology!!!

Romantic and business relationships will be very important while Jupiter is in Sagittarius for the next year. Jupiter usually expands things whereas Saturn wants to uphold tradition.  If you are in a committed personal or business partnership over the next year, you or your partner may want to expand your horizons - Jupiter very much loves freedom, and the daily drudge of responsibilities that Saturn has brought to your relationship with your partner over the last two years will be shifting. Expansive Jupiter will be free from the influence of Saturn in Sagittarius by the end of January, so be patient and hang in there until Saturn moves into sidereal Capricorn.

The strong gaze from Jupiter in Sagittarius to your eleventh house (Aries) of earnings and resources from your work includes positive support for networking with those who are part of groups who are in your industry. This is a great time to develop your network!

You may have a busy year ahead with a lot of short distance travels in and about your local city or within a few hours distance from home.

Wise Jupiter through sidereal Sagittarius will bring a time of expansion in your day to day activities and responsibilities, your career and an opportunity to bolster your financial reserves.

If you are a practicing healer, counselor/coach or if you are on a personal healing journey, the 12 months that follow can bring tremendous expansion and depth to your work with others or you own healing journey. You may also decide to broaden your scope at work and this transit will be quite supportive of raising your visibility through social media, marketing or advertising.

Focus on increasing your assets and connecting with family over the next year while Jupiter's expansive gaze is encouraging growth and expansion in these two areas of your life.

Leo, as part of the fire trine (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) your sign (and you!) will be receiving the MAXIMUM benefit of Jupiter's expansive and joyful transit through Sagittarius for the next year! Woohoo!

This is great news for you Leo since you have had somber Saturn sending his responsibly oriented and restrictive energies via the fire trines for the past two years. These are the areas of your birth chart that connect to your children, creativity, your mind, spiritual path, abundance, teachers and teaching, long distance travel and the house of self/physical body to name a few of the major areas of life that may have felt as thought you have been working hard on or having issues or obstacles.

Things will be significantly easier for you in these areas of life over the next 12 months, especially after Saturn moves into Capricorn in late January. Hang in there! You are going to get your creative mojo back, your spiritual path will be illuminated by wise Jupiter and your personal energy and health should definitely improve over the 12 month transit of Jupiter through Sagittarius. Woop!

Please note Vedic Sun Sign dates are not the same as in Western astrology!!!

Jupiter is bringing JOY and a major EXPANSION to your heart chakra for the next 12 months! Be sure to connect to your heart center of unconditional love.  This feeling will increase after Saturn finally leaves sidereal Sagittarius January 23, 2020, after a very LONG tour of your fourth house of mother, home and happiness! If you are considering moving or remodeling/expanding your home, consider doing so after Saturn has left Sagittarius in late January.

Studies in astrology, tarot or any metaphysical subjects will be very rewarding while Jupiter is in Sagittarius for the next year. Your partners resources may increase during this time, too.

Pay close attention to dreams and your subconscious mind. Now through November 2020 will be a positive time for unearthing any subconscious behaviors or thought patterns in order to  create significant changes for many years to come! Meditation and spiritual practice will expand, too.

Libra

(October 16-November 14)

Please note Vedic Sun Sign dates are not the same as in Western astrology!!!

Get your writing tools out, whatever they are dear Libra! Jupiter is expanding your communication horizons over the next year! If writing has felt a bit stuck for you over the last 24 months, trust me -- this energy is slowly shifting in November! The changes will happen incrementally. First when Jupiter moves into Sagittarius on November 4 and then an additional expansion once Saturn moves on down the road to Capricorn on January 23, 2020.

Jupiter will also be in full support of romantic and business partnerships over the next year.  If you are in a relationship, you may want to expand your horizons in this area and if you are not in a partnership, you may have a lot opportunities to explore!

Take some time to focus on networking within your industry and broaden your reach via social media, too. If you are self employed and have been considering raising your fees, do so once Saturn moves into Capricorn on January 23, 2020. If you are not self-employed, this may be a banner year for raises if the company you are working for is doing well.

Your day to day short distance journeys in and around the neighborhood and not too far from home (say one to two hours away) may also have you on the go for the duration of this transit.

This is also a terrific opportunity to shore up your financial reserves while abundant and expansive Jupiter is traveling through the area of your birth chart associated with your assets. It is also an excellent time to study a foreign language - the entire transit of Jupiter from November 2019 to November 2020.

Sagittarius

Please note Vedic Sun Sign dates are not the same as in Western astrology!!!

BONUS! This is your once in 12 year opportunity for your planetary ruler Jupiter to visit your rising sign and its own house. This year will be filled with so much personal and spiritual growth.

If you want to take a workshop or course to support your spiritual journey this will be an excellent time to do so. The past two years hard working serious Saturn has been nudging you along the work and responsibility areas of life and now expansive and abundant Jupiter will  take charge! Saturn will remain in Sagittarius through most of January so try to take things a bit slowly until then.

Your creative energies will be flowing and if you are thinking about an addition to your family, this may be the year! If not, then focus your creative energies on something else. Your personal energy and your health will be SO much better over the next 12 months! You will also want to have a lot of personal freedom during this time, so if you are in a partnership be sure to let your partner know this is a time of expansion for you that doesn't always HAVE to include them in your plans. Just sayin'!

This ~ 12 month period will be a wonderful time to dive head first (pun intended!) into a meditation practice and if you are already doing so, be prepared for your ractice to deepen significantly.

If you are considering a remodel/home expansion or moving to a larger space, Jupiter will be in favor of this, especially after your ruler Saturn moves into Capricorn on September 23. Jupiter's buoyant influence to the area of your birth chart associated with personal happiness will go a long way for you over the next year, too!

If you are self-employed and have more control over what you are charging (vs. being on a corporate schedule for raises) this is a fantastic year to consider raising your rates. Best to wait until Saturn moves out of Sagittarius on January 23, 2020 if it is possible.

Take advantage of this time and expand your social network, especially February through October of 2020. If you are in a committed partnership your partner may have an increase in earnings at this time. If they are in a counseling role, this transit will offer them the chance to deepen their abilities to coach and guide others during this time.
