Ensure that your goals are realistic and work towards them with the determination and perseverance required by Saturn.

This influence of Saturn may also bring a sense of melancholy to the new moon energy, which could lead to a more reserved or cautious approach to starting new things.

The New Moon in Shatabishak nakshatra supports new beginnings with its movable energy.

Shatabishak nakshatra is supportive of: * Engaging in healing practices for oneself or others. * Beginning a new medication or herbal remedy. * Activities related to movement, such as travel, hiking, bicycling or buying new vehicle. * Studying celestial bodies and their movements through astrology and astronomy.

Especially significant new Moon for those in the main or sub-planetary periods of Rahu or Moon.

SHATABHISHAK - A HUNDRED HEALERS Deity: Varuna Symbol: 1,000-Petal Lotus Shakti: The Power of Healing Quality: Movable Bird: Raven VD Planetary Period Lord: Rahu

Varuna, the god of cosmic order is also the owner of the magic-power (maya) or illusion according to the Rig Veda. He is linked to nighttime and covers all things. He is also the lord of all of the waters, including the oceans. The ocean is typically symbolic of the subconscious mind and represents that within Shatabhishak. The subconscious can guide a person to tap into powerful healing potential within Shatabhishak or to dive into the darkness and illusion of maya. Many extremes are found within this nakshatra.

If you're a beginner or new to Vedic astrology, my book has information on Shatabishak Nakshatra that you may find useful to read up on.

This is a friendly reminder for those who are new to my new and full Moon forecasts and other articles: my forecasts are created using the sidereal system calculations. Your rising sign, as well as other planets in your birth chart, may (but not always) shift signs from your tropically calculated horoscope. Sidereal calculations differ by about 24 degrees from tropical zodiac calculations.
